ABOUT OUR THERAPIST
Brett Enns,
RMT
Brett has been a professional practicing Registered Massage Therapist since 2012. Upon graduation from the West Coast College of Massage Therapy in British Columbia, he worked in Vancouver for a year before moving to Hong Kong where he practiced through 2018.
Much of his experience over the years has involved treatment of acute and chronic conditions including a wide variety of sports-related injuries. Being previously based in Hong Kong, a highly cosmopolitan city with a population of more than 8 million people, provided opportunity to treat clientele from across the world - locals, travelers, expats, office workers, pregnant women, world-class athletes, professional dancers, ultra-marathon runners and weekend warriors.
Day-to-day circumstances impose unique combinations of stresses and strains on the body. Brett's goal is to provide ethical and effective massage to his clients. He believes that a functionally pain-free or pain-reduced daily life is attainable for nearly everyone. He focuses on assessment, design and delivery of individualized treatment protocols and tailor-made home-care plans.
In order to provide effective treatments of a variety of health conditions, on-going professional development and training in new massage techniques, protocols, and modalities are priorities for Brett. He is committed to best practices and continuous improvement. Additionally, on-going dialogue and collaboration with other healthcare professionals has proved invaluable in enhancing his practice.
Massage therapy is much more than a job for him. He thoroughly enjoys his career and interactions with new people. The diverse applications and opportunity to be involved in improving the health and well-being of others is stimulating and rewarding.
