Pregnancy Massage

Pregnancy is a wonderful and magical time but it also comes with it's fair share of discomforts and aches. Swedish based massage therapy has been shown to be beneficial to pregnant women as well as their unborn babies in a variety of ways, first and foremost by reducing production of norepinephrine and cortisol (stress hormones) and elevating dopamine and serotonin levels helping to prevent depression. Balancing these hormones helps to reduce complications during birth as well as lowering newborn complications such as low birth weight.
